In the past, letters for the post were received through letter boxes, tappal bags, and Post Office counters. House to house delivery of letters was available in the past. This service was provided using foot Postmen, cycle Postmen, post boxes and tappal bags.
With a view to obtain efficiency the mail exchange is decentralized to 08 provinces.
